Please have your Birth Certificate and High School Diploma / G.E.D. ready for the application process.
If you have welding certs or proof of welding experience, send the pictures to me at broham107@gmail.com after you complete your application.
Apprenticeship Dates and Sign Up
If you would prefer to apply in person, our apprenticeship program is open for new candidates to sign up monthly. The location for the sign-up is the Boilermakers Local 107 referral hall at:

The Apprenticeship Coordinator is Abraham (Abe) Inghram, and he can be contacted at (262) 754-1291 or broham107@gmail.com.
You will need to bring with you a copy of your birth certificate, a copy of your high school diploma or GED, proof of identification (preferably a picture driver's license), and your social security card. If you have welding certification papers or school transcripts for welding instruction, bring copies that can be left with the coordinator. Please do not bring original documents to be left with us because they will not be kept on file here for you to retrieve.
The in person signup days are every 3rd Tuesday of the month and the hours of operation on those days will be from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM. There will be no exceptions for the time of sign-ups, and there will be no in person sign-ups on any other dates. If you enter the doors after the 8 AM expiration, you will not be eligible for that sign-up and will be asked to come back next month.
Apprentice Class Schedule
Indentureship for the new apprenticeship applicants will be at 2 PM sharp on June 30th. Do not be late, as you will be turned away and lose your invitation for the indentureship.
June 30th is upgrade day. Period 1 will be at 8:00 AM. Period 2-4 will be at 9:00 AM. Period 5-8 will be at 10:00 AM. The rest of the 2025 class schedule is as follows:

2025 Hourly Rates Per Period (Effective January 1, 2025)
- 8th period - 95% = $43.34
- 7th period - 90% = $41.87
- 6th period - 85% = $39.54
- 5th period - 80% = $37.22
- 4th period - 77.5% = $36.05
- 3rd period - 75% = $34.89
- 2nd period - 72.5% = $33.73
- 1st period - 70% = $32.56
